Examine our work of obtaining a confident software development process model along with the standard traditional model conclude the work. Based on comparison of ten software process models , we identified several parameters affecting the process model selection for a project development. In this study I proposed new concept of "Best Selection for Best Model for Best Result", which depicts histogram charts to choose the best model. A new model called CSDPM introduced which solved certain drawbacks in the old model. This new model is simple and easy to understand, we have not frozen a phase one can move easily from one face to previous phase to incorporate new requirements. "Student Assessment System" is developed using CSDPM which adapts to change in requirements to incorporate in SRS and final build. This is very useful for Developer to develop new Project.
According to application of nano-beams as nano-sensors, actuators, nano-generators, transistors, diodes and resonators in nano-electromechanical systems and in biotechnology it is important to investigate the vibrational behavior of nano-beams. In this study, the differential transformation method (DTM) is employed for vibration analysis of size-dependent nano-beams considering the coupled surface and nonlocality effects for various boundary conditions. The Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory takes into account the effect of small size while the Gurtin-Murdoch model is used to incorporate the surface effects. The derived governing differential equation solved by DTM which demonstrated to have high precision and computational efficiency in the vibration analysis of nano-beams.
The mortgage lending crisis of 2008 in the United States has become a major political and social issue (Reuters, 2008). Within this dilemma are two specific problems which may be solved to mutual benefit. First, there is an abundance of empty homes on the market, and second, there are people who cannot qualify to buy acceptable housing due to stricter lending standards. Specifically, this study will address the need for affordable housing and the concurrent problem of empty McMansions , a dwelling type increasingly available due to the current mortgage crisis. In an effort to provide a solution to the housing crisis for various population groups, three different residential designs will be designed within a McMansion, with one unit each designed specifically for seniors, small families, and young professionals. Each will incorporate design features that seek to promote community, mutual support amongst the residents, and principles of sustainability. The McMansion to be repurposed will be located in a suburban area of Washington, D.C. where the cost of housing is especially expensive. As this is not yet a familiar housing solution, opposition to the project design is anticipated.Author:Ashley McGrew was born and raised in Monrovia, Maryland. This thesis studies wet granulation on threedifferent levels. First, micro-level investigationsof liquid bridges between two and three particles areperformed. For the two-particle case, the fluidprofile of static (stationary) and dynamic (moving)liquid bridges are investigated. Static liquidbridges between three equally sized primary particlesare then studied, the symmetry of the problem is usedto obtain a numerical solution to the Young-Laplaceequation. Secondly, a model to estimate thestickiness (fractional wet surface area) ofagglomerates is proposed. The model includesparameters to control the inter-particle separationdistance and the fluid saturation state.Computational geometry is used to obtain resultswhich relate the number of particles and the volumeof binder fluid to the stickiness of theagglomerates. Finally, a population balance model forwet granulation is developed by extending an earliermodel to incorporate the effects of binder fluid. Themodel is solved numerically for a range ofcoalescence kernels and results are presented whichshow the effect of binder volume and the drying rate.
This book conveys a basic understanding of chemical reactor and its design methodologies that incorporate both scale-up and hazard analysis. It shows readers how to select the best reactor for a particular chemical reaction, how to estimate its size and how to obtain the best operating condition. The objective of this book is to develop a model for a two batch reactors in series with interchange. A model has been formulated consisting of an ideal reactor to represent a real reactor. First, it has been solved for exit concentration and conversion in terms of two parameters and beta which are a function the two adjustable parameters v_b and V_D and then simulate it using matlab software. In the chemical engineering field, models can be useful in all the phases from research and development to plant operation. Model and their simulation are tools utilized by us to analyze the process.
This book presents a review and development of classification and knowledge-based methods. It focuses on linearly and nonlinearly separable binary classification problems, which are then generalized to solve multi-categorical discrimination problems. In the case of nonlinearly separable classification problems, kernel functions are used to calculate the similarity or dissimilarity of the input vectors and the functional values are used to create a positive definite kernel matrix and reduced kernel matrix. Using a regularized least squares cost function the resulting optimization problem is expressed as a single unconstrained optimization problem which can be solved by matrix and/or iterative numerical methods. Advantages of this formulation include the explicit expressions used in the classification weights of the classifier(s), the model's ability to incorporate several classes in a single formulation and to provide quick solutions to the optimal classification weights for multi-categorical separation, and its ability to provide solutions without the use of specialized solver software.
